sa kabila ng aking katahimikan
hanapin mo ako
sa simula
ng mga tulang hindi mailathala
sa kabila ng aking pag-aalinlangan
hintayin mo ako
sa dulo
ng mga masasakit na salita
sa kabila ng aking pagkukulang
alalahanin mo ako
sa pagitan
ng mga awiting nakakubli sa bawat alaala
sa kabila ng lahat...
tahimik akong nagsusulat ng mga liham at tula
nag-aalinlangan na mauna
at baka sa muli ay masaktan lang kita
batid ko na ako'y nagkulang, di napapaalala
kung gaano ka kahalaga
ngunit...
