Kay dilim ng paligid...
kay ingay ng patak ng ulan...
kay lamig ng simoy ng hangin....
kasabay sa pagluha ng langit, kumatok ka sa aking pintuan... tulad ng mga ibong naghahanap ng masisilungan, buong puso kitang pinatuloy sa aking munting tahanan... pareho tayung estranghero... hindi kilala ang isa't isa... ngunit sa maikling panahon na tayo'y nagkasama, unti-unti na rin kitang nakikilala... walang sawang kwentuhan... at halakhakang nakikisabay sa ingay ng ulan. mga ngiting pumapawi sa lamig na dulot ng hanging nagpupumilit makapasok sa maliliit na butas ng aking tirahan...
gaya ng nakasanayan, ang ulan ay may hangganan din.
dama ko na unti unti na itong tumitila...
ang ingay na dulot ng bawat patak nito ay unti unti ng nawawala..
tulad ng paru-parong dahan dahan ng nagsisiliparan.
batid ko na oras na rin ng iyong pagpapalaam...
ngayon nga ay aalis ka na, para magpatuloy sa iyong paglalakbay...
parang may patak ng ulan na dumampi sa aking pisngi habang pinagmamasdan ko ang yong paglayo...
salamat sa munting kaligayahang idinulot mo
nung akoy nag-iisa sa gitna ng bagyo...
mawala ka man sa aking pananaw...
manatili naman ang munting pag-asa
na sana sa dulo ng makulay na bahaghari,
tayo'y magkikita pang muli...
At ngayun ay bumabalik na ang tag-ulan..
kakatok ka pa kaya sa aking pintuan???

maraming mga bagay na nangyayari hindi natin inaasahan. may dararating, pag-alis nga lang di tiyak kung kilan. tanging pinanghahawakan ay kasiyahan dulot ng kanyang pagdating at kalungkutan dulot ng kanyan pamamarisan. sa saya at lungkot na magkasama, siguro ay okay na.. kaysa sa nakasama mo nga sya, hindi mo naman naramdaman na nandyan pala sya.. isa sa mga sitwasyon talaga sa buhay ang pamamaalam ang pinakamahirap at pinakamasakit.. kung kilan akala mo siya na talaga, pero sa bandang huli hindi pala.. ganyan nga lang talaga cguro ang buhay. may aalis pero siguradong may darating naman. walang nakakaalam kung kilan. pero sa tamang panahon, mamumuo muli ang mga ulap. bibigat at tuluyang papatak muli ang mga ulan..
